Super Birthday

I'm seriously loving Clearly Besotted stamps right now! I can't seem to put them down! My cousin's 20th birthday is this Saturday and I wanted to make her a fun card to let her know I was thinking about her, so I created this cutie for her.

I started by cutting the Storybook 3 die from a white cardstock panel and then setting aside the 3 little pieces to stamp and color. I attached the negative cut panel to a card base and then started on the small pieces. I used the Caped Cuties set to stamp the buildings and stars on the large portion and then stamped my super hero bear and the moon on one of the smaller pieces. For the sentiment, I colored the piece with my copics and then let it dry. After it was completely dry, I used my anti-static tool to make sure extra embossing powder wouldn't stick and then stamped my greeting in Versamark and heat embossed in white. I carefully colored all my images with copics and then inlaid them into the negative die cut to finish off my storybook look! It has to travel through the mail, so I left this one without any extra embellishments. I did, however, coat the moon and the stars in clear Wink of Stella for some fun shimmer.

I'm entering this into the Addicted to CAS challenge this week. The code word is Inlaid Dies.
