The Challenge 87

Hello, everyone! I'm back today with some inspiration for the newest color challenge from The Challenge!

I decided to use those beautiful brights for some gorgeous flowers!

I know, I usually reach for my Copics, but this time I decided to try my hand at some watercolors. I mixed a few different brands for this one because I just didn't have the colors I wanted in one collection. I used my Zig markers for the Orange and Pink and my Gansai Tambi pan paints for the green/blue. I finished it of by adding some shadowing with some Pumice Stone distress ink. For once, I didn't succumb to full collection syndrome and just picked up bits and pieces as I needed them.

I did start my piece by heat embossing my stamp in white embossing powder. I'm still a novice, so those raised lines really help to keep my color contained until it dries!

I finished off the piece by adhering it to a card base with some double-sided tape and then adding the sentiment on some scrap kraft paper. I added a sprinkling of Sparkling Clear sequins and it was all done!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll join us this week!
