Hello, everyone! There's a brand new cue from CASology today which means another chance to play!
This week is sponsored by Kitty Bee Designs and I used this sweet Emily the Elephant digi stamp because elephants are super STRONG animals!
I started by printing my digi on some cardstock and then using my Brother Scan N Cut 2 to cut it out. As you probably already know, I hate fussy cutting! I used my Copics to color her in (C7, C5, C3, and C1. Y4 and YR04 for the flower and E51 for her toenails.). I grabbed a white card base and then used a stencil to sponge some light blue ink behind where I wanted to adhere my elephant (it's hard to see in the picture, but looks great IRL). I cut a scallop frame from some more white cardstock and used some foam tape to adhere it on top of the sponging. I used more foam tape to adhere my elephant in the center of my frame. I finished it off with a bold black sentiment.
I hope you'll join us with your own take on the challenge! Can't wait to see what you create!
Beautifully framed and coloured little elephant, Rachel! The frame looks amazing on the diagonal, and the soft colouring behind the little elephant is perfect!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful coloring and stenciling, Rachel! I also love how you angled the frame, too...so clever!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, stop! You have pegged my Cuteness Meter all the way, Rachel! This is CASlicious and so, so sweet!! Hugs, Darnell
