Final Kennedy Grace Creations Post

I'm over on the Kennedy Grace Creations blog today with my final post as a designer. I recently started a new job and it's cut into my crafting time quite a bit. I had to make some difficult decisions and I decided to step down from my position as a designer.

I'll still be around and I'll still be crafting, but there may be a longer delay in my postings until I get back into a routine. I hope you'll still stop by occasionally to see what I'm up to!

KGC New Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my stop on the hop! Our newest release is currently available in the store. I have several cards to share with you today, so let's jump into it!

First up is this shaker card featuring the new Kindness Medley stamp set and Unicorn sequins. Where are the sequins you ask!

Right here! I didn't want to obscure the sentiment in the first picture, but I promise, it's much easier to see IRL. Hard to capture in pictures!

Next up...

Another card featuring Kindness Medley. This one is Clean and Simple with a little added dimension from some stacked die cuts.

I used the same green as the card base so that it looked pretty from the side.

And now...

This one features the Friendship Blessings stamp set and a smattering of Jack Frost sequins. This may actually be my favorite stamp set from the release. I just love those gorgeous blooms!

I even created another card with it earlier in the week. Here it is in case you missed it the first time around...

We're giving away a prize package to one lucky winner! All you have to do is join us for the hop and leave a comment on each project. The more you comment, the more chances you have to win! Winner will be announced on Monday, October 2.

I hope that you're enjoying today's hop! You should have arrived from Erica and your next stop is Heidi. If you'd like to view the full list, please stop by the Kennedy Grace Creations blog! Thanks for stopping by!

The Challenge 93

Hello, I'm back today with a dual post! This card is featured on the Kennedy Grace Creations blog and was also inspired by The Challenge!

I chose the words circle and friendship for my inspiration for this card.

I started by stamping my roses on a scrap piece of white cardstock and then coloring them in with my Copics.

Red - R35, R37, R39
Green - YG95, YG97, YG99
Gray - C00, C1, C3

I then centered the roses in a circle die and cut them out. I set that aside to start on my card base. I stamped my script background stamp in Smoke ink and then adhered my circle piece on top.

I cut a banner from some black cardstock and then stamped the first part of my sentiment on it in Versamark ink and heat embossed in white. I cut the "friend" part of the sentiment from some white cardstock and then covered it in Versamark ink and heat embossed in silver to create my own metallic paper.

I carefully adhered the banner over the bottom of the circular piece and then used my multi-medium matte to adhere the die cut on top of the banner.

I decided to keep it simple and forgo the sequins for this one because it's going through the mail quite a distance and I didn't want to chance it getting messed up during delivery.

That's all for today! Thanks for stopping by!
