There Are No Words

I'm not one who's good with words. I'm an introvert and words always fail me at the most important times. My tongue gets tied or I just can't think of what to say. When that happens, I turn to what I know best. When words fail me, art prevails.

There are no words to express how much sadness I feel for the people of France. Hopefully, this card gets some of what I'm feeling across. I used a watercolor wash of different blues to create the background and stamped the Eiffel Tower image in distress ink and sprayed it with a mini mister to make the color run and bleed. I used the same blues to create splatters and then added a little white. I kept the sentiment crisp and black.

I'm entering this into the Simon Wednesday Challenge: Thinking of You. I think the whole world is currently thinking of Paris and the people of France. Pray for Paris. Pray for peace.
