Hello, everyone! I'm finally back after my extended break and
CASology has a brand new cue for you today.
My brain is still in sympathy mode, so I created a sympathy card using a pretty leaves die from Simon Says Stamp.
I started my card by preparing a Fog Gray card base and then cutting my leaves out of white cardstock and vellum. I trimmed a few leaves from each spring to make them appear a little different from each other and then layered them on my base. I heat embossed my sentiment onto black cardstock with white powder and then added some foam tape to the back of it. I used this foam tape the sentiment to secure my foliage the card base. I added a few dots of liquid adhesive behind a couple of the white leaves to keep everything adhered down, but left most of the leaves free. It adds some wonderful texture to the card when some of the leaves are able to float off the card base. I finished it off by adding just a few Onyx black sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
I can't wait to see how you're inspired by the new cue!
Very chic and elegant.
