Hello, everyone! I'm back with a new cue from CASology! This cue is actually going to last for 2 weeks because we're at that time of year that's crazy busy and we could all use a little bit more time to get things done. So you have a full two weeks to work and it's a good one!
Who doesn't love a bit of kindness? Especially at this time of year!
I went super simple with this card and made it one layer. I actually experimented with trying different color combinations or making my hearts all different colors, but I finally settled on a monochromatic heat embossed card. I think it just looks more elegant.
I started by stamping my sentiment toward the bottom of my card in Versamark ink and then heat embossing with some Golden Peach embossing powder from Altenew (my favorite!). I used my MISTI to make sure it came out perfectly straight. Then I removed the foam insert from my MISTI and lined up a Falling Hearts Background Stamp so that it would be just above my sentiment. (It's a foam cling stamp, so I didn't need that extra bit of foam in the bottom of my MISTI.) I stamped that in Versamark ink and then heat embossed with the same embossing powder.
That's all! It's a quick clean and simple card that could be used for so many things! I think I'm going to give it to my postal carrier this year with a couple of cookies just to say thank you for how hard he works year round.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to\enter your own kindness creations!

CASology: Gray
It's been a while, but I'm back today with a brand new cue from CASology!
I decided to go really simple with this card and make it one layer, so I made my base from gray cardstock.
I cut and folded my card base and then used my MISTI to stamp my images and sentiment in Versamark ink. I used white embossing powder to heat emboss everything. Super simple, but it looks so stunning!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Magical Birthday
Today's card was created for my niece, Lucy. She's a sweet little girl who loves pink and princesses, so this card should be absolutely perfect for her!
This card was actually pretty simple to create even though it looks complicated. I started by stamping my images with my MISTI and then coloring them in with my Copics. I used my Brother Scan N Cut 2 to cut them out (I am the queen of lazy after all).
I cut and folded a pink card base and then cut a panel of white cardstock to cover the entire front. I used my Stitched Triple Peek-a-Boo Window Edge die to cut the white piece down all in one pass through my die cut machine. It's all one piece so no guessing as to where everything needs to go. It seriously made this whole thing super simple.
I laid out my pieces on top of my card base where I wanted them to go and then used a piece of Press N Seal to keep them in place while I added foam tape over the back of the whole thing. I removed the Press N Seal from the front and then adhered the whole piece down to the card base. Another tip to make things easier for you!
Last of all was my sentiment. I found a piece of darker pink cardstock in my scrap pile, so I heat embossed the sentiment onto it using white powder. I used a little bit of foam tape and a glue runner to adhere it in place.
To add a bit of shine, I used my clear Wink of Stella glitter pen to add some shimmer to each of my images - the wings of the dragon, the princess's crown, and the horn and hooves on my unicorn.
