I actually struggled a little bit with this one. I kept thinking of gymnasts and couldn't get the image out of my head, but then I started thinking about the bird feeder we had in the backyard when I was growing up. My mom installed it so the squirrels couldn't get the seed and the bully birds wouldn't be able to use it. Only the birds who could feed upside down could use it. And, presto, my idea was born!
I used the little birds from the Happy Hippos set as my main image components. I used my ruler and a memento marker to draw in my phone line and then used my MISTI to stamp the little birds along it. I colored them in with my Copics and then stamped the sentiment from Tickled Pink below the images.
Super simple card to put together once I came up with the idea, but it actually took me days of thinking to come up with idea in the first place! Sometimes we just make things harder than they have to be.
Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to link up your creations to the CASology post!
How clever you are, Rachel (and your mom, too! I love your choice of birds...they're so sweet, and the upside down bird works perfectly for the cue card! Beautiful Copic coloring, and great sentiment, too! Thanks for making me smile today :)
