I was very fortunate to win a giveaway from Sunny Studio Stamps last month and I finally got some time to play with my new goodies! Here's what I came up with.
I decided to create a background by using a bunch of the small food images and those cute little ants. After stamping, I used a scallop edge die to make it look like a tablecloth. I colored all my images with Copics and then set it aside for a bit while I worked on the card base. This is where the MISTI is so useful! I stamped my Gingham Backdrop onto a red card base, but it had some splotchiness, so I was able to restamp right on top of the original and fix the icky stamping. So useful! I adhered my "tablecloth" on top of the gingham base and that's all there was to it!
Eeek!! So very sweet!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I love this Rachel! Sadly, it reflects the state of my kitchen at the moment, but oh, how I LOVE how you have combined those sweet picnic pics with that gingham! WOW!!!
