Father's Day Pirate

I'm dropping in today with a fun card I made for my Grandpa for Father's Day.

I used my Cube Cover die with an embossing pad to emboss the front of my card base. I set that aside and started on my images.

I cut the pieces from my palm tree from different colors of cardstock and then used multi medium matte to assemble it. I set that aside to dry while I stamped my images in my MISTI.

I used my Copics to color my images and then used my Scan N Cut to cut them out. I stamped my sentiment in Versamark on a strip of black cardstock and then heat embossed it using white embossing powder.

I adhered my sentiment strip directly to the card base using my tape runner and then used a little more multi medium matte to adhere the tree to the left side. I popped a little foam tape on the back of my images to add a little dimension to them and then adhered them to the side of the sentiment and in front of the tree.

I'm loving this little scene and I think the sentiment is just perfect for my Grandpa! Thanks for stopping by!
