I started my card by stamping my penguins and then masking them so I could stamp my sun "behind" them. I also masked off the sun and used a piece of post-it tape to mask the "ground" below them. I used squeezed lemonade distress ink and blended it closest to my sun and then blended some tumbled glass outside of that. Removing my masks is always the best part of ink blending! I removed them to reveal my crisp white images and snowy "ground" beneath them.
I colored my images with my Copics and added a very slight shadow using a very light blue below my penguins. I used my MISTI to stamp my sentiment below them and that was all there was to it!
Rachel, this is the most adorable little penguin scene I have ever seen! I love how they fit perfectly in front of the sun, and your subtle coloring is just perfect! I'm with you, I love masking and then pulling it off to see the result! Your result is PERFECT! Thanks for joining us at CASology!
