This little guy looks so soft and fluffy that I thought he'd be perfect for the current CASology challenge - soft.
I stamped him in my lower right corner and then masked him off so I could stamp the snowdrift behind him and the sentiment following the flow of the background. I cut another mask to cover the bottom of the card and then used Broken China and Tumbled Glass distress inks to create a soft sky in the background. After removing my masks, I colored my image with my Copics and added a small shadow below it. I attached my panel to a card base and added a little bit of Clear Wink of Stella to my snowman for just a hint of shine.
I'm also going to be entering this card into this month's Little Tangles Challenge - Clean and Simple.
Such an adorable card! Love the soft coloring, and the image is so cute!

ReplyDeleteAw, yes! So soft and cuddly! And the snow looks soft and fluffy, too -- perfect for snowballs! Great use of white space! Thanks for joining us at CASology!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute card - it definitely caught my eye!
ReplyDeleteI love this little guy too, Rachel. He's so adorable sitting there building his tiny snowman. Your coloring is gorgeous as always and I love the shadow detail. Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!
