Magical Day

Today's card was created for the current Lawnscaping challenge - Beautiful Florals. I don't have many floral Lawn Fawn images, so I dug out my fairy friends stamp set and used the florals along with the fairies to create this. I hope this counts!


As is my usual, this card involved a ton of masking! I stamped the entire scene using my Misti (minus the upper left fairy...she was added later) and then I colored everything with my copics. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and then heat embossed in gold embossing powder. After that was done, I realized that it was missing something. That upper left corner looked awfully bare! So I stamped another fairy and colored her in and then fussy cut around her. I didn't want to leave a white edge since all the other images didn't have one. I adhered her directly to the panel beside the sentiment. Now that I look back on it, I wish I would have reversed the fairies and put the green dress in the air and the pink on the ground, but oh well, hindsight is 20/20!
