Another day, another card! Today's card is for the Simon Says Stamp Flirkr Challenge - Mother's Day/Flowers. I already created and sent my Mother's Day cards since I don't live close to my mom or my MIL, so I decided to go with the flowers option.
I started by stamping my sentiment in the center of a die cut panel. I stamped the flowers in opposite corners and then masked them so I could continue stamping the leaves. Each flower has four steps. I used 3 separate pink inks to create the dimension and then I heat embossed the outline of each flower in gold. After masking them, I stamped each leaf in two separate green inks and then repeated the gold heat embossing for their outlines as well. It looks gorgeous in real life when the gold catches the light. I love how it turned out!
I just love your card, it's beautiful. I have just bought this stamp set and can't wait to have a play with it. Have a lovely day. Cheers Donna Z :)ReplyDelete
