CASology Guest Designer Week 179

Surprise! I was asked to stop by as a guest designer for the CASology challenge after my recent win during Week 177. This week's cue is:

I had several ideas for this cue (it could be anything, am I right?!), but I settled on the first one that came to me.

When I think simple, I think lots and lots of white. Nothing too flashy and colorful. No huge amounts of coloring. I decided to use an intricate die cut heart from Simon Says Stamp and pair it with a little simple ink blending in pink. In order to make the sentiment stand out, I white heat embossed it on black. The dark color really draws your eye! This card is simple to put together, but it packs a punch!

Supplies:
Stamps: You Have My Heart (MFT Stamps)
Dies: Bramble Heart (Simon Says Stamp)
Paper: Neenah Solar White, Basic Black
Ink: Versamark, Worn Lipstick
Other: White embossing powder

And by the way who are your furbabies? I have Ella (brown tabby cat) and Tex who's a total bitsa!

    1. I have 5! 3 cats and 2 dogs. My oldest is a snowshoe Siamese and she's 11, named Hannah. I inherited a Great Dane named Jax when I met my husband and then we adopted a mutt from the humane society to be his friend (Molly). Alex is the next kitty and he's 3. And last year our vet accidentally trapped a stray behind their building and we took her in. She has weird coloring, kind of a tabby, but with orange splotches interrupting her stripes, so we named her Penny after the copper color. I just can't seem to say no when it comes to animals!
